The story of GIAN Pizzella

From Coro, Venezuela, to Spain: the story of GIAN Pizzella, his viola training, emigration, fitness and return to music.

Music was my first dream, and today I’m finding my way back to it.

Coro: where the music began

I was born in Coro, Venezuela, and at ten I chose an instrument that changed my childhood: the viola. I joined an orchestra, stayed for five years and became a section leader. I learned that music begins with listening to others, practising and finding your voice within something shared. That was my first dream.

Spain: starting again

Moving to Spain opened a new chapter. I worked in hospitality, adapted and built a life far from where I grew up. Music took a back seat while I dealt with immediate responsibilities, but it remained part of me. My family and my uncle played an important part in encouraging me to return to that path.

The discipline I carry with me

Many people came to know me through fitness. It taught me consistency, patience and the habit of putting in the work even when results take time. I also found a community that supports me. That part of my story is still with me whenever I enter the studio, rehearse a phrase or try again.

Returning to my first dream

Today, as GIAN Pizzella, I’m returning to music from Spain. Bachata and Latin pop let me tell stories of desire, pride, temptation and feelings that are hard to put into words. I’m preparing Véngate Conmigo, my first release. This new beginning brings together the child in the orchestra, the man who emigrated and the person still learning to tell his story through his voice.
